On a Mac, ChatGPT's desktop voice can look at the front window if you turn on screen context and share it. We found no equivalent on Windows as of October 2026. Ask Mango sees the screen on both, but only while you hold the keys.
Can ChatGPT point at buttons on my screen?
No. It can tell you where a button is, but it doesn't draw on your screen. Ask Mango circles the exact button, waits while you click, then shows the next step.
Can I use Ask Mango and ChatGPT together?
Yes. They don't get in each other's way: keep ChatGPT open for long chats, and hold Ctrl + Alt in any app when you need Mango to show you where something is.
